SORROW



 Life is a mixture of happiness and sadness. Sometimes life gives us intense happiness and sometimes intense sorrow. Sometimes, life gives us an unexpected news that leads us to a deep sorrow which makes us feel like the world is crashing. We feel like we may never get through this. We feel so many mixed emotions which may or may not have experienced before. Sometimes, we feel like to talk and sometimes, we feel like to stay alone.


TIME IS WHAT WE NEED
When faced by an unexpected pain, we should always remember that it will take time. Maybe a very long time to accept and to get through everything. Pain is one of the most unpleasant reality of life and if this circumstance is very new, then time is what we need.

EXPRESSING EMOTIONS
Expressing one's emotions and venting out every feeling inside us helps us. Allowing ourselves to feel the sadness or crying it out helps to soften our pain.



HEAL
Healing is a long process. Sometimes it takes a very long time to accept the circumstances which we can't change. The pain inside us needs to be healed. For this, we need to feel four basic emotions:

1. Anger
When we don't express our anger and try to ignore it, it remains inside us and not expressing the basic emotion is similar to keep your cup full of negative emotion which keeps hurting us. You may not show your anger or express it but somewhere you always feel bad about yourself. You may also start blaming yourself.
Anger needs to be expressed so as to HEAL.

2. SADNESS
The second basic emotion is sadness which needs to be vent out either by talking to someone or crying it out or by writing down. Expressing your sadness is a great help to cope up with pain.

3. FEAR
The third basic emotion is to express your fear. Ask yourself, "What am I afraid of?" . If you get any answer, express it and talk about it.

4. REGRET
When we are faced by unexpected circumstance which we have no control upon, we are filled with a lot of regret inside us. We blame ourselves by thinking about the past that if we could have been there...
This fourth basic emotion also needs to be healed.

SOMETIMES IT'S DIFFICULT TO EXPRESS
Some emotions we are facing are very new, they are mixed emotions which are very difficult to be expressed. This will take time. Give yourself time and care. Empathise yourself and don't allow yourself to judge your emotions.

And remember, there is no right or wrong way to express the emotions because we all are different so let us express ourselves differently.

TIME AND ACCEPTANCE IS WHAT WE NEED.
