Here is a fact:
50% of our Happiness depends on our Genes.
40% of our Happiness depends on our Choices.
10% of our Happiness depends on our Current Situations.
40% of our Happiness depends on our Choices.
Hence, we and only we are responsible for our 40% Happiness. 40% of the Happiness is a lot. No one can stay 100% happy all the time. But, we all can stay 40% happy all the time.

You Are Always Choosing

You choose to wake up early and finish all the stuffs or you choose to stay in bed till 2 pm. You choose to workout daily or you choose not to. You choose to laugh more or you choose to stay miserable. You are always choosing, either something you like or something you don't. Then, you also choose to judge yourself for not choosing the right thing instead of choosing to commit to yourself and then keeping the commitment. 
So, this is how your 40% of happiness depends on your Choices. Your choices make your habits. Your habits define you. So, why not choose something great to do everyday to develop a good habit that would make you 40% happy. Isn't this simple? yes, it is. But, it is not simple to always choose the right things because that needs willpower.

60 MINUTES
The first 60 minutes of our day has a big impact on the rest of our day. So why don’t we choose to utilize these 60 minutes in a way that would lead to a positive and happy day. This depends on us that what we choose to do in the first 60 minutes. Do we wake up and meditate or do we watch Netflix. Or do we express gratitude or complain about our lives. Our thoughts and actions are choices. Clearly, thoughts are things and our subconscious mind is active during morning and before we fall asleep during night. So why not give positivity to our mind in the first hour of the day.

HOW TO SPEND THE FIRST HOUR?
Hel Elrod in his book “Miracle Morning” has explained well about how to spend the first hour of our day effectively.

S A V E R S

S – Silence - 5
Silence/ Meditation should be the first thing we should do in the morning. The first five minutes of the day should be silent. This will calm your mind and will help you to control your thoughts and influence your further day. 

A – Affirmations - 5
The next five minutes should be devoted to the positive words. Ask yourself, “What do I want?” and write down the answers in present tense. Repeat them daily in the morning for five minutes and the results will surprise you.
“I am truly happy and grateful for the fact that I…………..”
Fill in the blanks about what you truly want.

V – Visualize - 5
When you visualize then you materialize
- The Secret

The next five minutes should be spent in visualizing your day or any goal you want to achieve. If you want to have a big new house, visualize the perfect house you want to live in. Keep visualizing it daily for five minutes.

E – Exercise  - 20
The most important thing we can gift ourselves daily is the time to exercise. So the next twenty minutes should be devoted for exercising. Either an intense exercise or yoga whatever makes you feel good.

R – Reading - 20
Oprah said:
 When you are a great reader you can articulate, and speak and command the English Language in ways that other people cannot and people think you are a lot smarter than you are, lots of times because you are a great reader. I would say it’s the absolute greatest foundation. Have you ever met a person who was a great reader when they were young and was not successful? Never. It is the absolute best foundation, Ever in Life!
So why don’t you devote at least 20 minutes to read daily. In reading good books that would help in being a better person.

S – Scribing - 5
The last five minutes should be devoted to scribe, to jot down your thoughts, to write three things for which you are grateful or to write about yourself. Keep a journal and write down anything you want to. Either your goals or about yourself or your thoughts that pop up in your mind sometimes and you think other people should also know.

These sixty minutes will make you aware of yourself and confident enough to handle the rest of your day happily and positively. So give yourself positivity and love in the first hour of your day. 
Make this habit and this habit will make your life and you will be the master of your happiness. Well, you are already the master of your happiness. You just need to develop a self confidence and self love to accept this.
